The folks at Automattic wanted to do WordPress, Twitter style, and came upp with the Prologue theme, available on WordPress.com, and for hosted installations. Cool, will we see WordPress MU powered Twitter wannabees now?

Blogger adds languages and right to left support
Google just recently announced the addition of Arabic, Persian, and Hebrew to their Blogger service, along with support to write from right to left. Good news for some, for sure.
Automattic to offer hosted forums?
Matt Mullenweg, Automattic head honcho and creator of WordPress, mentioned a new forum software in an article over at the Houston Chronicle TechBlog (via Blogging Pro). The new piece of software is called TalkPress (for now at least, see this bbPress forum thread), and will co-exist with bbPress.
