Habari 0.4 is out

Blogging platform Habari have launched version 0.4, and it’s available for download. BloggingPro notes that development is going a bit slow on this project. Here’s hoping that it won’t die out on us.

  1. As skippy mentions at blogging pro, it’s simply appearances. It’s been only 4 months since the last release.

My reasoning for why the development may seem so slow is because people are waiting for specific features before they try it, but they’re not getting involved to tell us what features will get them involved.

We’re planning an 0.5 release before PodCamp Ohio in June with a focus on podcasting. Our hope is that Habari will be the sleekest blog+podcasting platform available.

  2. Thanks for commenting, Owen. I believe you’re right, you need to list some bells and whistles to get people using your platform at this point, which in turn is what you need to find out what people want… Keep at it, and thanks for letting us know about 0.5!

  3. We’ve got to get places like Blogger Talks talking about our platform! I think that when people see and hear some of the unique things Habari can do, we’ll start to gain more of a following.
