Digg for sale, Google and Microsoft wants it

TechCrunch reports that Digg is for sale, and that Microsoft and Google both wants it. Google is rumored to bid $200-250 million, and Microsoft is said to be below that number. Read more at TechCrunch. Is it worth it?

  1. I seriously don’t think that Digg deserves that kind of price. I think it is still at a very early stage to go so high. But then, that may be the reason that Google and Microsoft want it. So that they can develop it beyond here. Anyways, Digg definitely is popular (even though I don’t find it of much use, I think its idea is flawed) and both these giants can put it to great use.

    However, my experience tells me that if Google buys it, it may develop into something worth looking forward to. If Microsoft does, I can ignore it comfortably as lost forever.
