The recuperating Om Malik announced the launch of OStatic (launch post) a little while ago. OStatic is an opensouce focused blog within the GigaOM network, and it looks pretty good. I’ll be following this one.
Six Apart have updated their hosted blogging platform, TypePad, and claims they kick everyone else’s ass in that particular niche. Maybe they do, although Andy over at The Blog Herald thinks it’s a bit silly to compare a service that costs money to free options.
TechCrunch reports that Technorati’s next move is to launch an advertising network. It’s getting to be a crowded space, that ad network niche, isn’t it?
Rumor has it that there’s a Google PageRank update in the works, possibly already rolling out. Anyone seen or heard anything? Via!
